Our Story
Company History
Dale and Bonnie Prochnow started the business back in the 1970's while still on their large dairy farm when they had a need to have corn hauled. The first trucks started out under the name of Prochnow Farms. They sold the dairy farm in 1978, and the trucking business grew from there. We are now in our fourth location, located on Highway 13 south of Medford.
Prochnow Farms changed to Prochnow Transport Inc in the 1990s, along with the move to a larger office and shop facility with more acreage for the fleet as it grew.
Dale Sr. and Bonnie can still be found in the office on occasion and always welcome conversations with employees, many of whom have been with the Prochnow Family for years and have become friends. Their three children are involved in the business, with Dale Jr. and Dawn actively running the day-to-day operations and Dean working with spotting services.
Backed by decades of experience in the transportation industry (over 48 years) Prochnow Transport has been a family run business with an emphasis on great service, an exceptional employee team and well-maintained equipment. Our drivers provide the highest degree of service possible, always keeping the customer's interest first and foremost. Dale Prochnow, Sr., stated, "We are dedicated to customer service and won't promise anything that we can't deliver. Our reputation is based on our personal integrity."
